About the Covenant Scarf

I never set out to design this scarf with a plan in mind—it was something that unfolded in prayer, in the Word, and in quiet reflection on what it means to be in covenant with God. This question sat heavy on my heart as I studied. I wasn’t just drawn to the idea of covenant—I was wrestling with it. What does it mean to belong to be bound to God by an eternal, unbreakable agreement? How would I pray, how would I live if I believed it?

So many of us live as if we are unsure of our standing in Him. Sometimes we wonder if we are still chosen, still held, still entitled to His promises. We wrestle with identity, with waiting, with trust—especially when life seems uncertain, and the promises of God feel distant.

But covenant is not about our worthiness. Not because of anything we’ve done to deserve it, but because of who He is. His promises do not waver with our emotions, and His faithfulness is not contingent on our perfection. He is the One who upholds the covenant. He is the One who remains faithful.

This scarf is filled with symbolism and scripture—every detail reflecting the deep and unshakable reality of being in covenant with God:

  • Archways & Doorways – A threshold into promise, a symbol of stepping into newness in Christ.

  • Blood on the Doorpost – Echoing Passover and the ultimate covering of Christ’s sacrifice.

  • Lion & Lamb – The beauty of Jesus as both our atoning sacrifice and reigning King.

  • Yahweh Yireh (Jehovah Jireh) – A bold reminder that God is our provider.

I wove these elements into the fabric of this scarf, not just as design choices, but as a proclamation. A proclamation that we are secure, that we are covered, that we are walking in something greater than ourselves.
